LTT workshop 12/05/06: Using PowerPoint animation and audio to enhance teaching and learning
Hi folks,
I hope this morning's workshop was useful and enjoyable. I would really appreciate it if you could give us your feedback on it. For example..............
- how did you find the pace of the workshop? Too fast/too slow/just right?
- did the workshop meet your current needs?
- are there any others areas/issues that you would like to have covered?
- how did you find the supporting materials? Adequate, too much, too little?
If you have any comments or recommendations, it would be great to hear them.
Thanks in advance,
Pauline

`Well done and highly motivating
Thank you
very useful but could have been longer
Bit rushed at the end.
I think it would be more useful to start with the new stuff and leave the well understood concepts about pres for the end. I felt my concentration was wavering at the end.
Looking forward to notes
Very useful session.
Highlighted powerpoint "assumptions" and practices that I need to change -drastically!
More practice on audio and graphics should help me to be more adept at presentations.
Ran out of time at the end as topics on animation and video left for the few minutes at the end. However I think I got the basics but I would have liked more time on working with images, animation, recording sound, pasting in videos etc and cut out the introductory stuff. The presenters were excellent - both Pauline and Ken know their stuff and the equipment was first rate. The room is too small and badly needs air conditioning.
I was happy with it. Perhaps more actual hands-ou which was a bit rushed towards the end. I realise comments in the earlier part slowed things down but these were still useful for me. But I would feel I will stil need to do somethig like it again before I use it. I tried the free images website afterwards, but it was tricky to find my way around. My peculiar need is for images with a law and hospitality theme.
Thanks
Marc Mc Donald
